Puerto Rican rapper Anuel AA (Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago) is wearing a Richard Mille RM11-03 Flyback Chronograph in 18k rose gold with a skeleton dial, surrounded by a 44,5mm wide case that has been paved with baguette-cut diamonds.

The timepiece features an analog time function, automatic winding movement, and a superior flyback chronograph.

About the Watch

Richard Mille’s timepieces have provided refined performance in an unprecedented number of categories since the product’s inception. One only needs to glance at RM 011-03 to understand this. This item embodies all the company is known for in terms of features, components used, detailing, movement, and exceptional versatility.

The RM11-03 Flyback Chronograph has a classic shape with a rounded bezel, sides, and case-back, as is typical of Richard Mille. Furthermore, the watch is powered by an unusual movement.

The RM 011 was due for a redesign after 10 years of genuine service as the product’s classic model. The watch’s design and execution reflect a comprehensive perspective of the mechanism, casing, and dial.

Because of this, everything is built to a stringent specification. It is similar to the analytical manufacturing procedures employed in the development of Formula 1 racing vehicles, where the chassis and engine are designed in perfect harmony.

A casing ring, for instance, is no longer employed, and four titanium screws to chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW) instead secure the movement. These features are proof of meticulous craftsmanship. The settings on RM 11-03 casing take 26 hours to machine, and the kit program takes 30 hours.

The Tonneau-shaped casing comprises 18k rose gold and features a clear sapphire crystal case back that reveals the watch’s outstanding movement. Microblasted titanium crown with double seal o-ring as well as yellow rubber collar, this watch is water-resistant to a depth of 50 meters (or 165 ft.).

The functionalities are shown on a skeletonized dial with white Arabic numerals as well as yellow dotted hour index indicators. The hands and dots adjacent to the hourly Arabic numerals comprise luminous filling for improved readability. A Tachymeter scale in green font circulates the dial just next to the bezel. Hours, minutes, seconds, fly-back Chrono, 60-minute counting timer at 9 o’clock, 12-hour totalizer, large date, month indication, and rotor with changeable geometry are all included in this skeletonized automated rotating movement. A date aperture is incorporated between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions, as well as the current year aperture underneath the noon position.

The moving chronograph can be adjusted by pressing the pusher between 4 and 5 o’clock without first stopping the mechanism. It was initially designed for pilots to avoid wasting time (and thus accuracy) while crossing a navigation point by halting, adjusting, and restarting the chronograph. When the Chrono feature is turned on, the hours and minutes are displayed using the counters at 6 and 9 o’clock, while the central hands display the seconds.

A Richard Mille black rubber bracelet is attached to the timepiece and fastened to the wrist with the titanium tang buckle. A self-winding mechanical movement, Caliber RMAC3, with 68 jewels and a 28,800 Vph. Power reserve power this watch. Besides, it can last up to 55 hours when completely wound.
